Zest Protocol Borrow overview

Zest Protocol Borrow allows users to get liquidity against their BTC or Bitcoin assets by borrowing. Zest Protocol Borrow is written in Clarity on the Stacks L2 and based on the design of Aave v3.

The true potential of Zest Protocol Borrow will be unleashed once the sBTC hard fork has been merged into the Stacks L2 in the middle of 2024. More info in The technology under the hood. Before then, we're launching a Stacks lending market using Zest Protocol Borrow's Clarity smart contracts. This allows us to attract real TVL as preparation for the inflow of BTC capital after the sBTC upgrade.
