# Airdrop

See the Season 1 $ZEST airdrop eligibility, allocation methodology, multipliers, vesting and claiming process.

The Season 1 airdrop allocated 1% of the total $ZEST supply to eligible Zest Protocol points holders.

The snapshot was taken on 13 May 2026, and points stopped accruing at that time. Allocations reflect participation throughout the Stacks Market era, with additional multipliers for eligible positions and Zest Protocol Genesis NFTs.

### Eligibility

Eligible wallets were determined from the final Zest Protocol points leaderboard at the snapshot. Institutional liquidity providers were handled separately and excluded from the public points distribution.

Token allocations were based on each eligible wallet’s position on the points leaderboard.

### Allocation methodology

The airdrop was distributed linearly according to points, subject to the following adjustments:

* Maximum allocation cap: No wallet may receive more than 5% of the total airdrop allocation. Any excess from capped wallets is redistributed proportionally across other eligible wallets.
* Open-position bonus: Wallets with at least one active supply position at the snapshot receive a 1.25× multiplier.
* Genesis NFT multiplier: Eligible Zest Protocol Genesis NFTs apply an additional multiplier.
* Multiplier stacking: The open-position and Genesis NFT multipliers are applied multiplicatively.

### Genesis NFT multipliers

* Bootstrapper NFT: 1.5×
* Champion NFT: 1.6×
* King NFT: 1.7×

The NFT multiplier applies once per wallet. A wallet holding multiple Genesis NFTs receives only its highest eligible NFT multiplier.

### Vesting and claiming

10% of Season 1 allocation unlocked at TGE. The rest vests six months following the $ZEST token launch.

Tokens allocated for Season 1 points — including the TGE distribution and the allocations unlocked in month 6 — can be claimed until one month after the month 6 unlock date. Any tokens that remain unclaimed after this deadline will be permanently forfeited.
