# Supported DEXes and Tokens

## Supported DEXes

Zest Protocol Stacks Swap aggregates liquidity from every major DEX on Stacks; with more routes, faster backend and UX than any DEx product:

| DEX | Pool Types |
| ------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| [**Bitflow**](https://app.bitflow.finance/swap) | Classic pools (Univ2), StableSwap pools, and concentrated-liquidity (DLMM) pools |
| [**Velar**](https://app.velar.com/swap) | Classic pools (univ2) and StableSwap pools |
| [**ALEX**](https://app.alexlab.co/swap) | Weighted AMM pools (amm-v2) |
| [**Arkadiko**](https://app.arkadiko.finance/swap) | Classic pools (univ2) |

Hundreds of liquidity pools are compared on every quote. A single swap can combine pools from several of these DEXes at once when that produces a better price.

## Supported Tokens

Zest Protocol Stacks Swap supports the major Stacks assets, including STX, sBTC, liquid stacking tokens, and stablecoins, alongside a wide range of community tokens traded on the supported DEXes.

The token list is curated: only tokens that pass safety checks are available in the app. This protects users from malicious or misbehaving token contracts. New tokens are added over time as they qualify.

If a token pair has no direct pool, the router automatically routes through intermediate tokens (for example, through STX) to complete the swap.

## Stacking DAO Protocol Conversion

In addition to DEX pools, Zest Protocol Stacks Swap supports converting between stSTX and stSTXbtc directly through Stacking DAO's own protocol contracts, in both directions. A quote involving these tokens compares DEX pool prices and the native protocol conversion, and selects whichever returns more.

The protocol conversion can also appear as a hop inside a longer route, for example swapping a token into stSTX on a DEX and then converting to stSTXbtc through Stacking DAO, all within one atomic transaction.
